We post prayer requests as they come in, on this page, following the form given below, usually within a day or two of receiving them. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO POST THE SAME PRAYER REQUEST MORE THAN ONCE ON ANY GIVEN DAY.

Please note as well that due to the large volume of prayer requests we receive, we cannot publish more than one post for prayer requests from the same person on any given day, except for those requests involving emergencies. We're trying to give as many people as possible a chance to be heard on this prayer line. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Prayer is a beautiful, as well as essential, way to ask for Our Lord’s help and blessings. Even when God doesn’t answer our prayers as we’d like, He gives us the grace to cope with our problems and tragedies better in any case.

Don’t think that any request is too small! Our Lord Himself said “ask, and you shall receive” (John 16:24). Your requests become that much more powerful when others are praying for you as well. Also, it is a truly divine form of charity to pray for others, especially for those most in need!

As Pope Gregory the Great once wrote “He causes his prayers to be of more avail to himself who offers them also for others.” In other words, as our Lord said in Luke’s Gospel “Give and it shall be given to you” (Luke 6:38). And, as a popular saying goes “God cannot be outdone in generosity!”

“Pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16)

Please pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of my father William who passed away on November 26th, 2015. He was 86 years old. Also, pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of his brother-in-law Larry, who passed away on May 31st, 2017, after a long bout with dementia and Parkinson's Disease. Pray also for my wife's stepfather Grady Tomlin, who passed away from cancer on January 9th, 2019. Thank you, and may God bless you for your prayers!

10/18/25: God, stumble and fall all my enemies and anything they are doing against me, my family, parents, siblings, and anyone around me. God, remove all access and close all doors they have to us and keep them all away. Andres

10/18/25: Pray to God to please sever all evil ties connected to me. To permanently and forcefully remove all enemies and their evil works and attacks from my life. To defend me, protect me, and to fight for me against enemies at work, where I am temporarily staying, in the area I am located, including at church.

10/18/25: My mother Margarita is 83 years old and has 15% kidney function. It has affected her health greatly, and she has so many side effects due to her kidney disease. Please pray for her health, that she may get better and feel better. Thank you. Lourdes

10/17/25: My mum, Glenda has mental health issues, and she is getting mentally ill again. Too many things to attempt to explain, as many things only make some sense, and some things make no sense at all. My mum threatens things, and says things she doesn't mean (sometimes I know she doesn't mean it, others not so sure). My mum is being very mean to my dad and at times to me as well. My mum is trying to get a new job, which I understand, I just hope she doesn't get a job that she isn't good at. I don't think that she gets that if you know you are not good at something, maybe try something else instead.  My dad got medical tests done recently, I hope it is nothing too serious, that can be fixed easily. 10/17/25: I want to do God's Will. Pray that the government shutdown ends soon and that as a Federal Government Worker I can return to my job. Pray that I can pay off all my debt, back taxes to the IRS, and money borrowed from family and friends in full. 10/13/25: Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Elie to you, who is courageously battling cancer that has spread to his lungs. You are the Great Healer, and nothing is impossible for You.
Please lay Your healing hands upon Elie. Remove the pain he is enduring, bring comfort to his body, peace to his mind, and strength to his spirit. As he approaches his clinical trial this coming Wednesday, we pray that everything will go according to Your will; that the treatment will be fruitful, effective, and with minimal side effects.

9/30/25: A few days ago, back in the city where I normally live in, in Canada, a neighbor wants a new fence. He seems nice but I really don’t know what my mum really thinks about the guy, as my mum has trust issues with people, generally speaking. Hope all goes well with the fence issue. I don’t know everything that happened, but it seems the littlest thing bothers my mum. My mum wants to get a new computer as one computer has connection issues, and the other has some issues, minor (mostly) in comparison, but it is old. My dad has health issues, but also recently got diagnosed with a genetic heart condition that I hope he survives and gets better. Also, (September 30th) today, we just arrived at a smaller city to try to get an older house fixed and rented out, but a contractor barely did anything at the old house, and my mum thinks she knows that the contractor won’t do much until the contractor gets more money. My parents were dumb enough to go on a vacation a few weeks ago, and it was to a very expensive place in Canada. My mum is being unsensible and being a jerk to me and my dad, on and off. I know we make mistakes, like one recently, one which is that, yes, I am at fault, but my mum (and surprisingly my dad), usually it is just my mum, that puts all the blame on me, and my mum didn’t take any responsibility for her actions, as usual. I just hope it doesn’t come back to bite me later on, despite the situation. I also just hope that the internet doesn’t stop working again, as my family is in a place where the internet isn’t the best. Ashley

9/29/25:I know you do not know me but I am asking for prayers to heal the health of my heart. I have been diagnosed with mitral valve heart health issues. I have anxiety that goes along with it. 9/29/25: Prayers that my cataract surgery on my second eye goes perfectly this Tuesday morning at 9:15. That my blood pressure stays down so they will do the surgery. Prayers that they get a great seal over my eye on their first try so they can to do the surgery. And prayers that I can see perfectly 20/20 after the surgery. Pray that all goes well before, during, and after the surgery, and pray that I do not get an eye infection during the 30 day hearing process.    Thank you so much for your prayers. 9/20/25: My Serum Creatinine (a blood test for assessing kidney function and kidney diseases) level has increased by 0.2 mg/dl from the last test report which was done 4 and 1/2 months ago. The level of creatinine in my blood is significantly elevated considering my age and the test duration. The increase might be temporary and not serious whereas it also could be permanent, serious, life-threatening, and a matter of concern. It could also indicate towards kidney failure. I also have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, high triglyceride and grade 2 fatty liver disease. I have also been a chain smoker since a young age. Both of my parents also had chronic kidney disease which gradually leads to kidney failure. Diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, and family history are a major risk factor for kidney failure and other kidney diseases for me. According to my doctor, almost most of my major organs are at high risk due to health-related complications and genetic factors. They will re-check my serum creatinine level after 4 days for confirming whether the rise is a temporary or a permanent one. Also having foamy urine since 4 months which is also a symptom of early kidney disease. For that, they will test Urine ACR (another early marker test for kidney disease) after 2 days. Kindly pray to the Almighty Lord so that this time the test report comes satisfactory with a significant decrease in serum creatinine level. Also for the Urine ACR report to come satisfactory. Kindly pray so that I don’t get any sort of kidney diseases at present or in future. Request Lord to bless and heal me from all diseases and health related complications. Also pray and request to bless me with overall good health and longevity.

9/4/25: My mum has mental health issues. I worry for my sake and my dad’s sake. My mum thought she told my dad that she had bought something that my dad knew nothing about. My mum thinks that my dad lost it, but my dad says that he never saw it. My mum and dad are going elsewhere in a few days for a trip. My mum has a hard time taking anything. I feel like I am walking on eggshells, (figuratively speaking) and keep on saying horrible things. She gets upset too easily. I just pray that tomorrow, that if I go anywhere, that my dad or/and mum don’t follow me around. I made a mistake related to a misunderstanding of telling my folks where I was. They thought I meant somewhere else from where I told them, and I am still a little scared and stuff after that one. Also, I hope my mum stops saying things like “get out” or “find an apartment”, and I hope my mum treats my dad and me better. I also hope that I don’t mess up with my phone, as I have it on at the right time, and it keeps on working. I also hope that I am allowed to go to a church event on Saturday September 13th, that night. I hope my mum gets the mental help she needs when she is on her trip with my dad. 9/4/25: I messed something up. It is a long story, but it was all a big misunderstanding that I “created”. I said one thing, but my parents thought I meant something else, and it was horrible, I am scared of becoming homeless about what I said. I hope that I don’t mess anything else up for various reasons. I hope my period doesn’t come until Saturday at the earliest, as I know it is coming. My dumb mistakes that I normally don’t make, I make more of. I also hope to still live with parents. Ashley

8/28/25: Before my boyfriend told me he wanted to be my boyfriend and be exclusive with me I had a past. He’s not bothered about my stealing past but he’s bothered that I used to be a prostitute and I used to sell my nudes to make money whenever I was broke. I haven’t done anything with anyone since I met him even though I had someone I wanted to be with, I just left that person to be with my current boyfriend. This evening my boyfriend is telling me he’s not proud of me, as in he’s not proud to call me his woman. Meanwhile he does fraud and expects me to speak to his clients and if necessary have phone sex with them. Am I in the wrong? Is my past really that bad that he can’t overlook it and see the good that I’m doing and also the fact that I’ve not cheated on him. Even though I’m not proud that he has so much potential and has chosen to do fraud. I don’t tell him I’m not proud of him. I rather encourage him and even help him with the calls. I know that’s bad and it’s enabling but that’s what he uses to feed me and take care of my needs. I’m confused. From the prayers I’ve prayed it seems that when he seems discontent with life and his client doesn’t send him money, he tends to take his stress out on me to make me feel bad about himself so that he doesn’t feel bad about being broke and not having a stable source of income. Don't let her have any sort of reaction to the sedation whatsoever. Please get mum through this gastroscope with flying colors. Just let mum have something relatively minor like a small hiatal hernia and nothing more serious. Please let mum's stomach and esophagus be completely healthy, normal and regular in every single way. Please let her be seen nice and quickly, and let it be a nice, easy, straightforward, stress free, positive, lovely experience. Please let every single person that we deal with, doctors, nurses, and receptionists, be really kind, friendly, understanding, helpful, competent, talkative, and have a great sense of humor. Please let us get to the hospital in plenty of time and be able to get a taxi home quickly and easily as well. Please help us, I am so worried and stressed out, please let mum be ok. 8/20/25: My father expired last January 1st. I have taken the charge and ownership of our family’s technical business since then. The first few months went well. Recently two of our highly skilled experienced technicians have left the job. One more will also leave the job after a month or so. Our business organization will be under severe threat due to an acute crisis of skilled technical manpower from their sudden resignation and a shortage of expert technical staff. Our decades long family business will be under threat due to this crisis. It seems that we have to shut down our family business due to a shortage of technicians if their equivalent substitutes are not being found within due time. I have been searching for expert technicians to fill their gaps but am unable to find any suitable few. Kindly pray to the Almighty Lord to make everything OK and help me in finding expert skilled technicians to replace those who have left our business organization. Pray so that no adverse situation affects our organization and that we avoid all chances of shutting down our family business. 8/14/25: Dear Jesus and Mary, my husband Larry was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and four days later with rectal cancer. He had emergency surgery 3 days later to have a colostomy. They say they cannot remove tumorous cancer cells that spread to 2 spots on the liver and a few on his stomach lining so chemo is the plan. He is 37 years sober and has helped many. I so believe in the power of prayer which saved our eldest son from dying from drug addiction. He is now 10 years sober and helps others. We also pray for friends Ted and Sharon also battling cancer. 8/11/25: I use a blue medical scooter and hope to get a new one. It is an old scooter. I hope that it keeps on working, in the meantime and hope to get new scooter before winter. I donated a needle disposal container to a church, I just hope it goes to someone in need and doesn’t end up at the Salvation Army. Also, I hope my mum keeps most of the online ESL students she has now. She is paranoid about losing all of them or most of them. One student in Japan, called August’s (I don’t know his real name) mother wants harder stuff for her son, but in the past he did not really pay attention to his online lessons. My mum thinks August is being two-faced, but I am not so sure about that. I think (but am not sure) that it is his mum that wants the harder lessons. My mum and I think his mum is paying closer attention to August. And the ironic thing is that August’s and his mum’s English is not that great. I also hope that my mum gets more lessons, as with customers learning ESL on Cambly, during working times. I am also out of the city where I normally live, and over where I am there is more than enough rain, and the air quality is not that great. It is getting better, but it is raining in the wrong places. Please rain where the fires are. 8/11/25: Please pray for Logan H. He is a teenage boy from my community who was involved in a tragic car accident that left him devastatingly burned. He has life threatening burns over 40% of his upper body. He is currently fighting for his life, and needs your prayers!!! Every day is a struggle for his survival, and doctors can't yet determine what his quality of life will be if he survives. Please pray for his miraculous recovery. 8/10/25: I'm asking for some serious prayers please. My family is being attacked from every angle right now. First, my mom had emergency surgery, then my brother's wife passed away leaving 6 kids (one being a newborn), all of whom we are now caring for; and as we are still trying to pick up the pieces from that tremendous loss, my dad was just told he may have cancer. And to top it off my sister is in the ER now with neurological issues. I don't know what else to do but ask my Catholic community to please pray for my family. I don't know how much more we can take. 8/4/25: I am in a smaller city right now, called Melfort, I normally live elsewhere. At a store called the Bargain Shop they have an annual event called Fill-a-backpack and they need more donations. I don’t have much money, but I donated a few small things, but that isn’t enough. I know the economy isn’t the best, but I hope someone at least donates some pencils, paper, binders, and erasers. Also, I hope that winter comes late this year, as spring was very late this year, to give the crops that have not matured yet the chance to mature. And when winter does come, I hope that it does not snow very much so people can get to places. Come cities and towns where I go to, do not shovel or plow the streets and sidewalks well enough, especially for people with disabilities. It is annoying not to be able to use the sidewalk, most of the time, in the winter. I live in Canada. Ashley

7/23/.25: Dear Friends, my name is Amanda, and I'm writing to humbly ask for your prayers. For four years, I've worked at the same senior living facility, and for the past three, I've been actively searching and praying for a new job. My current schedule, Friday through Tuesday, every weekend, every holiday, has made it incredibly difficult to attend Mass regularly, celebrate with my family, or find real rest. Even when I try to make it to Saturday vigil, I'm usually so drained after work at 5 p.m. that I feel like I have nothing left. I still go when I can, but the rhythm of my life has slowly pulled me away from God’s presence. I don’t understand why. I’ve often asked Him, “Why do I feel kept away when I want to come closer?” Now, to add to the challenge, I've been told we're having a mandatory staff meeting on my birthday, Wednesday, August 20th. While birthdays might not seem like a big deal to everyone, mine has always been the one day I tried to protect for myself. Even Christmas and Easter weren’t guaranteed. This one day has been sacred, and now it’s being taken too. Worse, my supervisor has said that even if I request the day off and notify them, not showing up will count as a “no call/no show,” which could result in termination. It truly feels like I’m stuck in a job that’s draining me spiritually and emotionally, with no way to step away gracefully. I am asking for your prayers, specifically for these three things:
1. That if it’s God’s will, I can give my two weeks’ notice and be gone from this job before August 20th. 2. That God would send me a clear and unmistakable sign today, something that shows me what to do next. 3. That I can begin to understand why God has allowed this long separation from Mass and the sacraments, even though I’ve wanted to return. In the meantime, I’ve been leaning on the saints, some I’ve known for years, others I’ve just recently come to know. They’ve helped me carry hope when mine felt like it was running out. I ask that Guardian Angels help me only in ways that also bless the people they protect emotionally, spiritually, physically, or eternally. My Personal Prayer: Jesus, if I have to stay, give me peace I can’t generate on my own. If I’m supposed to leave, then please show me the door and let me recognize it. 7/22/25: I admit I made a mistake, and I am paying for it big time. Not telling the whole world what I did, but I keep on messing up (generally speaking). One, I messed up on my own birthday, that one was minor compared to today. I hope to get the Disability Tax Credit, as I need it, especially after I messed up. I know the world is struggling with money as one relative gave me less money than usual for my birthday. Money keeps on being taken away from me. Sometimes my fault, other times it is not. I need money. Please, I need not to get into more big trouble. With one of my mum's jobs, I hope that she gets more priority hours that she can pick from during the weekdays. Plus, I do not want to be kicked out on the streets for my dumb decisions and things that I didn't do but get blamed for. Ashley

I have a vehicle that is broken down with 2 years left of payments on it. I suspect foul play and sabotage on my vehicle. But I'm currently on SSDI, living in an apartment in Ohio. I have no transportation to get a job currently, and I can't seem to get anyone around here to hire me. It seems as if I have been cursed. So I really need the use of, or to receive, a working vehicle I can make payments on and get back to, as my life might as well depend on it. I am afraid for my life and feel in danger most days. 7/10/25: Please let it rain today (Thursday), but it says rain on Friday (I live in Regina, Canada), please no rain on Friday (at least not between 8:30 am and 10:30 am CST), as I need to use a medical scooter to get to places and more than enough things have backfired on me, already. A medical scooter could not be out in the rain. Thank you. I was crying. My mum isn’t wrong about my weight but she is scary. I don’t want to be homeless. I don’t know how much my dad is on her side about this one, all that I know is that it is hard for him. Please help me lose weight quickly. Please don’t let it rain on Friday, as I need to get weighed that day and I use a medical scooter to get to places, and rain wrecks the battery. My mum thinks I am lazy. I do have my moments, but she wants me to do way more, and I am worried, as she is the kind of person it is hard to keep up with, for anyone. I am known to work hard. My dad has poor health, help him get better, or at least well enough to do what needs to be done. A lot of things, bad things happened lately, more than usually. She thinks I am not even trying. I am trying. My mum is known for her threats, some real some I don’t know for sure, until later that they are false. (She has mental health issues). Mum also needs help getting her priorities straight and she hurt her arm so she needs help with tasks, but despite that she makes things harder than they need to be. I understand she needs help, but she has a habit of "making a mountain out of a mole hill". I just hope at the end of this, that my legs still work properly, and I have my big medical scooter working properly, as I think she wants me to work with plants. She also has patience of a toddler, which doesn't help. She is controlling and gets mad easily. I need help, I don't want to lose it, again (as there is too much to take). Ashley

7/7/25: It is a long story, but one help my parents stay together. My mum is being weird. I worry about her health, mentally and physically. My dad is sick, heal him. Please help me stay healthy. Please help my mum get the priorities in order of importance. There is a lot going on. And my mum wants to leave the city soon, but I worry about my dad’s health, and has some kind of appointment on Wednesday. Please help me get a new medical scooter, but in the meantime, keep the old silver one alive, that also includes the battery. And help me not to lose it, as it is one of those days, and I have a feeling they will be many of those days for a while. Ashley

7/6/25: Father, Mother, Angels and Saints, thank you for all that you have given me and my family. Take care of us and protect us from all evil and any harm. Strengthen my faith and heal me from cancer and pain. If it is your will, let my treatment and medication be a success. Heal my son from all that he is going through in his life and give him courage, strength, guidance and wisdom to continue his education and his job. Be with him during all that difficult time with his research and let everything goes well. Help him to get into residency where he can enjoy and do well and continue learning and do his best. Heal my daughter and help her raise her kids and be healthy and happy. Heal my husband and give him good health. Release all our stress, fears and worries and let us be at peace, happy and healthy. Give all the mothers strength and consolation during the suffering from their family. Protect the prisoners, homeless, elderly and mentally ill. Heal the sick and suffering! In Jesus' Name! Amen

7/6/25: My mum has an online student that is late, lately, and my mum is worried about he will stop having lessons. I worry about the student being forced back to his native country, as they must get their passports from the United States, not Canada, due to lack of technology. I also have a lack of funds, and need more money, I hope to get more money, soon. I hope that it doesn’t rain on July 11th, as they are places I need to go. I have a medical scooter, and it can't get rain on it. Thanks. Ashley

7/4/25: Please pray for my son. He has been going to bad websites and talking to strangers since he was very young. He left in the middle of the night with the assistance of a stranger a couple of weeks ago, and we know very little information. Please pray that he realizes his mistakes and comes home and wants to change his life around. He is in a very dangerous place. Please pray for his mental health and safety. 7/1/25: Please pray for my sister Jackie who is battling cancer, she is young (55 years old), she is loved and needed by so many people, family, friends, and the ones she has not yet touched. Since our mom's passing in 2003, Jackie has been the matriarch of our family, the core of all that is good in it. We pray that is is not in God s will to take her from us any time soon, so that she may continue to share her love with the world, we need more Jackies in this world. Thank you. Tim

7/1/25: Please give my wife and I the will and strength to save our marriage, to return the love, laughter and dreams we always spoke of. There was no infidelity, no violence and no betrayal of body. We have wounded each other in quieter ways, through silence, misunderstanding, fear and distance.
